They look huge on the floor! they look 1.5x the size of top gun on the mat...love them...once they are a tad cleaner they will be such contenders
When they clean it up they probably won't look as big on the floor - sloppiness tends to expand things.

My favorite part was the group of 4 boys tumbling together. So sharp!

you dont have to cheer at a well known gym to be critical?
@b0yrange very good point. However it was a rhetorical question; saying that it's a very unclassy move to call a coed team "all-girl" esk as well as compare them in such a way that he did directly to their competition; not to mention they've proven otherwise the passed two nationals that they've competed. Buttttt on the same token, you've gotta know what you're talking about if you're going to be that negatively critical; which is another reason why I asked if he had any high degree of credentials. Otherwise, show some class and give them some positive criticism that would actually help. The way you present yourself on these boards show alot about character as well...

they have all the potential! and the only thing that looks "all-girl," i think, would be the unis. that's it. aside from that...they have the potential to do damage in their division :p

.....
Gosh, I didn't see it that way. Here all along I thought it was the white UA uniforms as opposed to TG's black, because (as all of us ladies know) white makes you look bigger than black.
Insert tongue-in-cheek sarcasm smiley. ;)

One very tiny irrelevant element doesn't change the overall feel of a routine for me.

i felt the same exact way you did the first time i saw them. HUGE amounts of talent, but not shown in the "normal" coed style that we are used to seeing... key word that i used is, "normal." Ultimate Athletics is known to have abnormal choreography, and choreography integrated with their amazing skills, creates choreo that pushes the limits. Coed routines are so cookie-cutter nowadays, and that is what we are used to seeing. amazing tumbling. transition. easy, but solid stunt. transition. jumps. transition. (catch my drift?) UA doesnt like cookie-cutter, because they want to standout!! they want it to catch your eye, (and thats exactly what they did. you even pointed out what they worked so hard on!) New types of choreo, combined with a new way of creating a coed routine is what UA can pull off, and they definitely pull it off well!!
They have done amazing with the style of choreo for YEARS! why change it now, just because they are in a different division?

That was absolutely my favorite part too! I loved that corner pass with the group of 4 guys!

they bring a tonnnnnnn to the able and always serve it! i love UA and come from it also. prodigy is AH-MAZING!!!! they have a lot of talent and are absolutly flawless! great group of people on and off the floor. they have no problem going againt those teams i believe an they believe they can win it! :) PRODIGY<3

I'm not sure what makes a routine look all girl, maybe it's the females TOSSING stunts, or the females throwing doubles and standing fulls. I do know that this routine is amazing and has grown so much since their last competition. I believe they can win. They do have cleaning up to do but I would not say they look so sloppy that it makes them look bigger. I think NCA will answer all the questions that people are trying to answer
