and yes, our girls/kids have been told to step up and that no one is not replaceable, but the only time the word 'tryouts' has been mentioned in on the website for the 2012-2013 season!!

unfortunately, alot of organizations do that nonsense. I feel if they were good enough to be on the floor when they received the bid, then they should be on the floor at worlds.. (unless and injury or emergency, there should be no replacements)

OK, but I have no idea what the rules say about this, so does anyone know? I'm less concerned about karma than I am about conditioning and execuation of skills.

You can replace up to 10 athletes from a team that competed for a bid. 7 of those athletes must have been rostered alternates or competed on another team from the same gym at that competition.

3 replacements can basically be anyone you want as long as they are released.
