Someone might want to forward that stuff on over to the 'proper authorities'. It's actually really easy to find, and I'm not even following any cheerleaders (I follow Rays and CA, and only because twitter made me). I understand you're upset, but you had to know going in that if you have a rough day 1, you need a heck of a lot to come over day 2. I saw A scoresheet (don't know if it's the right one). Their opponent hit both days, and the score was basically the same both days. While that can breed disappointment, the lack of sportsmanship isn't a good reflection of what seems to be a generally well-run program. And if you're THIS upset at Battle, what the heck would you be saying if this happened at Worlds??!

I know you're not on twitter that much, so I don't think you want to know what some F5 kids were saying when Senior Elite beat them last year at worlds...

I love how this video is a side view. It really shows how much the girls fight for each stunt, and even though some stunts fell and there were some tumbling errors, the parts that did hit looked great- everyone one has an off day. I'm sure they'll fix it up and Courtney wouldn't put them out at NCA if she knew they weren't ready. Their routine has hit countless times and I can't wait to see what they bring to the mat for nationals and worlds.:D

I am not excusing the kids from what they tweeted but we are holding these athletes to such a high standard yet when coaches and/or gym owners vent their frustrations through social media we turn a blind eye. Please believe the kids will be dealt with. Not that it matters but the scoring throughout the weekend confused many programs and coaches with several divisions.
On another note I do want to add that just because a team hits their routine does not necessarily garauntee a first place finish.

A special congrats to Lady T's and Eclipse for earning those bids to worlds!

I have to give a huge shout out to Coastal though for that entire competition running on time. Both days, both halls. Very refreshing!!!!

Hello worlds 2010..

I don't sub cheer twitters because I get enough high school drama from Facebook, and this is coming from grown women.. :D

I will say if it were any other gym, we'd be ripping them up WAY more than this..

Reign....Wow,blown away! Energy, timing, and body positions perfect and that was only good for 2nd? Where is the video of the winner?
I believe this routine was the highest scoring of BATC. Didn't see day 1 but as I understand it, when combined with day 1 scores they got edged out. I am positive with this momentum they'll get paid this weekend.

people keep forgetting this is a 2 day comp...50/50. they had mistakes on day 1. not to take anything away from them. they are a GREAT team.

am i surprised by cea and maryland fitting on twitter... no.
but i am surprised that these kids think that its okay to bash the other cheerleaders on the winning team, etc....
its not really the teams fault, its more of a judges fault for crappy scoring. i think ALL teams need to learn how to lose gracefully without bashing the other team. and in this day and age with social media, maybe some of the coaches need to give a little lesson on how to properly represent your program/team after a rough day or good day. wether its a small comp. or worlds, losing sucks, but all the ranting in the world isnt gonna change the fact that you still lost.
