I leave for school tomorrow.. WTF is this?!?!?!?! I said goodbye to my best guy friend today as we went out to lunch and just had a wonderful conversation that could've gone on longer but I had a hair appointment. Then I went to dinner with my parents and boyfriend. I started crying when I was hugging my boyfriend goodbye later (well, earlier this evening but later after dinner and hanging out and playing video games together).

My facebook friends have let me down, so I'm going to try here!
I'm going to London and Paris in the middle of September and I have a few questions about my electronics. I'm only bringing 3 things, my phone, kindle, and hair straightener. I know I need a plug adapter, but I'm so confused about getting a power converter! I'm mainly worried about my straightener, I don't want to fry it! Does anyone have a converter that worked well for them? Will my straightener be okay? I've tried to find out info about the voltage it uses but I haven't found anything (it's a Jilbere Paris, if anyone happens to know.) Should I just buy a straightener in Europe? I don't know! Any advice?!
Hmm, see if there's a voltage switch on your straightener? Or is it dual voltage? You can buy like small white adapters that you can just plug an American device into and then plug that into the wall, but I wouldn't recommend that for a straightener, but your Kindle and phone should be fine if you use one of those. I used one of those small white ones on my straightener and now it doesn't work anymore and it smelled like I had a barbecue in my bathroom lol. We used to use transformers in our house and when we moved back to the states my Dad forgot to switch the voltage back and blew out a speaker system, haha. But I would check to see if it's dual voltage. I think the range is 110 and 220? If not and you wanna be on the safe side I would consider buying a European one. I hope this helps!

A few hours ago I found out one of my best friends is diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer. I knew there was a chance he had cancer before. I want to start a trend on twitter for him because I know he has so many people out there praying for him and even more could be a better reassurance. Plus it could never hurt. I know a couple have on Instagram with #prayfortaylor, please keep him in your prayers guys. Thanks

I'm currently a part of team in training, which is a running organization that raises money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. In honor of your friend Taylor I will run one mile for him as I run the Nike women's half marathon this October.

Awh thank you so much. This means a lot to me and it probably will to him. I'll make sure to tell him.

I leave for college tomorrow and saying goodbye to all of my friends over the past few days was so depressing and I'm not even an emotional person
Saying goodbye to all my friends was one of the hardest things I had to do before leaving for college. I know it's hard, but you'll meet lots of new people and you'll be able to see your friends over breaks and stuff! Good luck with everything! I'm sure you'll do great! :)

So this week is my sorority's "spirit week" to prepare for recruitment next week. I have never been so exhausted in my life. We have to be at the house every morning around 8, and I live 30 minutes away (I have to walk because I don't have my car yet). I'm really excited for next week because there's supposed to be 1700 girls rushing, but I hate having to stand around and practice until 11 every night :(

I just stomped all over my first professional interview :D. Its the first one I've had as a CNA (certified nurse assistant).

This place is so hipster...

Its a house that's over 100 years old, it survived the 1906 earthquake that wiped out most of my town.

And my shift is overnight.

And I'll be by myself. So I should just never watch a scary movie again.

But I get to help out adults with Traumatic Brain Injuries which is exactly what I want to do and I really really hope I get the job.
