Well it's a very long story but all-in-all our management had some problems and the rent was $7,000 per month and so we had to find a smaller gym to practice in until worlds.
OMG this happens to me all the time!:banghead: It makes me so mad because they don't stay and then I have to buy a new pin to replace the lost one. At worlds every year it is easier to get a pack of Disney pin locks because they practically never come off!
we just recently got kicked out of our practice facility too and i feel homeless and do not like it but another gym around was gracious enough to take us in.
I have been once before and am going again this year and am not expecting it to be like it was last year because i am compeing in the IAG division instead of small coed like last year. Everything that people told you, follow that advice it is all useful and so ture. HAVE FUN!
Do:
Take lots of pictures
try to meet and interact with other gyms
look fierce at all times
drink lots of water and don't change rituals (ex. eating Pixi Sticks)
Don'ts:
Be obsessive cheerlebrity crazy
Eat a lot (its very hot)
look intimidated
have a negative attitude if something goes...
Recently I have made the decision to switch cheerleading gyms to give myself the opportunity of growth and expansion of my competition choices. I know that I want to be successful and be on a worlds team for many years in a row but what if no one likes me? What if I do not fit in?
Wow its crazy how fast this season has gone by, this is my 2nd year going to worlds but this year my gym created a brand new IAG5 team and we get to go to worlds this year. Does anyone know what the weather is going to be like in Orlando this weekend?
