I have never been so I can't give first hand experience. I have heard over the years that the judging has been suspect. There has to be a reason why several highly reputable gyms in the Northeast do not attend when the event is within driving distance and there is a very good chance of them receiving a paid bid.

Judging is questionable. Venue has been historically awful. Owner is known to be a little batty. Bids to everyone and their mother. Very low attendance.

It is a money grab. I am surprised that they do not charge to go to the bathroom. Spectator fees are crazy. I think Worlds is cheaper.

It's off season in a beach town. There is nothing to do there except take a few pictures on the giant beach balls and Wildwood letters, no chain hotels within the surrounding area, no where to eat, and is a sucky comp to boot. As long as the USASF continues to validate CheerTech by allowing them to hold comps for bids to Worlds, teams will attend to try to get bids.
