Can I just say how much Stars have improved their stunting technique? Everything looks FLAWLESS.

They worked so hard over the summer. Completely dedicated themselves.
With the double ups, the reloads to 1 1/2 and 1 3/4 and especially the invert where they tick tock with one leg and switch-up with the other at the same time....it took time and work but they really wanted to put out something original this year, something that would take them so far out of their comfort zone because they love their sport, their gym and their division that much. They were all so happy yesterday after their performance, it was precious. Gave life and true meaning to the term "The work is worth it".:cheering:

Holy pyramid indeed. Pure artistry. I mean, the BODY control. She just twisted twice horizontally and landed perfectly on top. And 1-1-1s..ish? Are those things even legal?!?! Because those girls are STRONG.

Haha, yea, they just recently (I think in 2011/12) made those illegal... as well as 211s on thigh stands.

Wait 2-1-1s are illegal but they can toe touch up to an unspotted 1-1-1........?

HAHA, yes. It's kind of a** backwards over there... It doesn't make sense... They can also technically, if I remember correctly and nothing has changed since the last time I read through the rule book (or maybe that was Germany specific...idk?!), do front and back tuck dismounts from extended level. Those were scary!

Jumps are a mess but that's my only complaint. I love their routine this year and I haven't really loved one of theirs since 2010!

No, because in Germany there are still 2 cheer organizations...Teams are members of either one (or neither):

CVD -> ECA -> IFC
CCVD -> ECU -> ICU

If you belong to CVD, there is a rule that you can't also compete through CCVD.

Stars are EVERYTHING. I drove 4 hours to see them in person and it was worth every second.

ETA: Whoever the tiny flyer is who does the double up in the beginning stole the show. I could not take my eyes off of her.

I was there as well. Amazing performance. Also I was so excited to see my old shooting stars girls I cheered with from 01-04 who I haven't seen in years. Loved being back.

Also no one talking about CheerTyme Love that from what I heard KILLED IT yesterday at their comp.

The Chantilly Cheer Tyme gym had their showcase on Saturday. LOVE had a great performance! They will start competing in a couple of weeks.
