Love how everyone else is telling her what skills she should work on, and you are telling her she should learn to post vids. Made me :D.

I try to make people laugh, or piss them off! Both reactions make me laugh.

Yeah. Is there a problem with that? Can you please stop commenting about video. I don't know how to post them and would appreciate if you would stop. Thank you.

Throwing this one out here. My cp struggles with back walkovers and backbend walkovers but can throw some nasty tumbling skills with BHS combos into tucks, layouts and dub fulls. Not being mean or discouraging just saying what we read is not always the practical way.

You are right that some kids can do these skills out of progression. It isn't unheard of, but when a kid doesn't have the prerequisite skills for a BHS and is really struggling getting that BHS, not having those skills could be part of the problem. Our gym takes progression very seriously. My CP has really struggled with the walkovers and I questioned why she had to get them before working back handsprings. The coaches showed me their info on progressions and the human physiology research that said that having these skills first is safer and puts less stress on the back. If you have the shoulder flexibility, strength, and control to do a back walkover you are much less likely to be overusing your lower back to gain the arch necessary for a BHS. That is what I am going by. There are always exceptions to all of this however and each kid is different.

As weird as it sounds I'm the same... I can do handsprings, front and back walkovers, but I can't kickover to save my life. :(
