My team is thinking of putting together a routine to do at half time at some basketball games. The last time we did this I was lucky enough to find someone on here that just happened to be giving away 5 free mixes.

Anyways, my coach asked me how/if I could get/make music for this year. I've tried making music but it's not good. All we need is just a straight music mix. No sound effects, no voiceovers. Does anyone know where I can get a cheap (like really cheap because I'll probably end up paying for it myself if I have to) or free (like a good mix on youtube or if anyone here makes mixes for fun) cheer mix? Any responses are appreciated!

You should use World Cup Shooting Stars Fashionista from 2008. I think about 1000 other schools already did.

You could download Audacity, convert some songs on YouTube to MP3, download those, and make a mix that way. All free.

I pay for Adobe creative cloud so I tried Adobe audition. I didn't like it very much. Mixing music is not my calling lol

Look at Legitmix.com and search in the cheer section. They have premade mixes... You just have to buy the iTunes songs and then mix itself. But I find it to be useful... You can choose your music length too...

The school I coach at has next to no budget for music and we tend to use legitmix for our routines. The mixes are usually pretty cheap; some of them starting around $25 depending on the length. You can even purchase some that already have voice overs added in them. If you're looking for an inexpensive way to get music, I definitely recommend legitmix.

we started a site with 'raw cheer music', no mixes, for someone on a budget, songs are $15, of course your going to use more than one in a mix. The music is USA Cheer compliant,,,we aren't trying to complete with the big mix companies, just offer smaller teams access to the best quality music,,but you have to mix yourself Home - Cheer Jam Music
