What exactly is the cheer cruise? How does it work? Is it just for teams or can you sign up as an individual? Is it similar to a cheer camp like Woodwards just on a cruise?

On the Fierce board home page before you get to the forums. There is a picture of a cruise ship and it says Cheer Cruise.

There is also a "The Cheer Cruise" page on facebook, but I don't understand what it is/how it works.

The Cheer Cruise is hosting a Beach Camp July 25-27, 2012 before The Cheer Cruise. The Beach Camp is designed for All Star Cheer families with all training sessions taught by Top All Star coaches. Cheerleaders will create their own unique camp experience by selecting a skill and coach for each session. The Beach Camp is geared toward individual cheerleaders, but groups can attend. The Cheer Cruise and Beach Camp will host events near major competitions during the 2011-2012 season for cheerleaders and parents can get to known each other before arrive in Miami. The Beach Camp will also offer a Cheer Expo or Trade Show, spring floors, parent seminars, supervised activities for siblings during camp hours, activities after camp hours for cheerleader and siblings so parents can enjoy Miami's famous nightlife, pool party at a private pool and a custom made cheer outfit and bow.
Check out www.thecheercruise.com for more information.
The Cheer Cruise itself will have cheer related event, but training sessions will only be held during the Beach Camp. The Beach Camp is limited to only 250 cheerleaders, and will sell out before the cruise. The coaches for The Cheer Cruise have been invited not only for their coaching ability, but their passion for the sport.
