I think @nikaa is referencing the fact that your avatar is a girl from Cheetahs. I know you're new, so I'll explain her snide comment to you. Having an avi of an athlete other than yourself is frowned upon on the boards. We are very protective of minors and don't encourage posting pictures of their faces, etc. I'd recommend changing your avi to something that reflects who you are. It doesn't need to be a picture of yourself or the logo of your team. It could be something as silly as your favorite cartoon character or your dog. People will be much more likely to respect you as a serious poster if your avatar isn't someone else's face.

What changes it is sticking around and posting.....the more you post the I'm new don't hurt me will change. Regardless of how you perceived it she was just trying to nicely give you some good advice. Take it or don't your choice.
