Why does cheerupdates tweet before the team is done?

Because the live feed is slower than what is actually happening, I'm guessing CU is right there so he can give an immediate update.

same here: I got my exam of Pharmacology and Medical Calculus tomorrow, I missed almost all the lectures due to sickeness. I really can't focus and it's really important that I pass these exams!

My suggestion for a rule next year: Top 3 from each country, but if a team doesn't score at least 2/3rds of whatever the base score is, then the next highest score out of EVERYONE goes.

I don't think the feed is completely live, like it has a slight lag. That or he assumes there won't be anything crazy happening in the dance.

Since there are also quite a few At-Large teams that barely got 100 points out of the 150 possible, I think they should start with 1/2 (=75 points min)
