oh my...We received a 10 page list of possible exam-questions to prepare ourselves and one of them is: "explain: what is first pass". I can totally imagine what I'm capable of writing with my lack of sleep and spending the whole weekend thinking about worlds...

(the real answer has to do with something about the way the body absorbs medication)
