All I can think about now is that e-mail coach Eddie from California Allstars sent earlier in the season in response to Dylan's father's concerns...... "The team your son is on now has never won Worlds" (or something similar).

I am crying so happy for coed elite finally oh my god yaay. so happy for dylan and gabie and all the kids and courtney and ben...two of my favorite teams I wanted to win sooo bad just won worlds. what a happy morning.

And now I will eat my breakfast and go to sleep. Ofcourse I am eating toast with nutella at 6am

In all seriousness, a team which has been so close since '09, and has been improving consistently year after year, just finally got their dues. I've been rooting for this wonderful group of kids for so long, and I'm so happy that it's finally happened for them. And for it to happen after so much adversity this weekend is icing on the cake.
