New for 2014:The MAXIMUM # of individuals allowed to crossover from the Cheerleading Worlds to The Summit 2014 will be FIVE athletes per team!
Per TEAM? Does that mean that 5 worlds athletes can be on LS4 and 5 additional be on SR5 while 5 more on a SS4? Or, is that only 5 athletes per Worlds team can cross to other teams?New for 2014:The MAXIMUM # of individuals allowed to crossover from the Cheerleading Worlds to The Summit 2014 will be FIVE athletes per team!
If I remember correctly without going to search for the rules, there was no limitation on the number of alternates that could be used. This was a sore point with many because a completely different team could hit the mat at the Summit than the one that received the bid and it would still be perfectly legal. Is there any rule on number alternates for The Summit? If a team of 32 gets a bid (paid or at-large) & say only 28 can attend can you replace the other 4??
Thanks
Yes, I'm pretty sure there are no limitations on cross-overs or alternates other than I believe there is a limit of 5 World's athletes that can compete on each team (which I could rant about forever)Is there any rule on number alternates for The Summit?
