Not sure if this is fake because Daniel is friends with her, i thought it might be a fake daniel, but he has like 700 friends. But i could be wrong. If that is a fake mom, thats really disturbing.

Its a fake Daniel.
This is so messed up, how does someone take the time to add 700 people?
I have the real daniel's facebook and he has 1393 friends.

The sad part is that when trying to find the real account but looking at family and in relationships, some actually had the time to make relationship accounts and parent accounts...

What is the point of impersonating? are they trying to get attention and get called pretty and hot? are they trying to "get some" fail if so

I've heard of a cheer mag contacting a FAKE fan facebook page (thinking it was the real fan facebook page) of a very popular cheerleader and conducted an interview with the FAKER to be published in their magazine!!! Not a good situation.

Why would a magazine try to conduct business over facebook anyway? That's sketchy.

I've also discovered you have to be friends with the REAL person to be able to report them properly. Unfortunately I am not friends with Erica, so I can't really help there

Also, REMEMBER - this isn't only happening with CEA girls. Keep your eyes out for many other kids as well.

No you don't, just click them as 'fake celebrity' (yes, really) and their name (at least Maddie's and Erica's) shows up..

believe me or not but this is what i know.. erica has a facebook: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100002120183823&ref=ts & a formspring: ericaae. that is her real facebook even her mom will say so as well as jay & courtney is friends with that one. she has posted links to that formspring before. she recently had a link to a twitter she made but i don't think she uses it. i got mixed up with a poser a long time ago who pulled the "i'm the real one see here's my number!" too bad it was the real ericas number who had no idea who i was & apologized for the whole thing as well as accepted me on her real facebook. she told me that there is no "fan facebook" these posers speak about & that she didn't have a twitter (this was a long time ago the link on her facebook was recent-ish). all others are posers: officialericae, ericagaylee, & theres even a poser eriicaae so it looks identical to her actual one just an added i. i honestly feel so so bad for her these posers are insane.

Everyone is justified in being upset about this, but you need to be realistic. People don't have as much power with Facebook, Twitter accounts as they think they do. I could be wrong, but I don't believe Any social networking sites claims rights to your online information. To be sure you have to check the security agreement we all "OK" when we join a site. This part is CRITICAL to understand:

Anything you post online becomes "public domain." It means that by posting it, you are OKing anyone who wants to copy it and reproduce it whenever and however they want. Don't want picture of your kids spread around? Then don't post them Otherwise the best way to control it is to ensure yours and your child's profiles are "Private" or that any information is visible only to "Friends"

The last setting is critical, otherwise "Friends of Friends" can view your pictures through someone else's account.

Also beware of people tagging themselves on your pictures because that is another way for people you don't know to instantly see your pictures on some creep's account. Here is one example: http://www.facebook.com/cstoecker1

We should not only stop fake profiles, but watch out for creeps and let our friends know of people we should report and block.

That is absolutely disgusting. What option would you select for reporting him? None of them really fit what he is doing...
