I took a year out this season, but the opportunity has come up for me to start cheering around December/January time again. However, my stretches, etc. aren't as great as they used to be as I've been out the game since June! Does anybody have any tips on how to ease myself back into stretching? Thanks guys
 
Just start doing all the stretches you used to do. They might be a little harder now, but at least they will get your body back in the mood of being pushed to its limits. And do these stretches everyday. When your body gets used to them, switch it up a little bit and research new stretches, and try those out. Keep going til your happy with the results. :)
 
Maybe increase the amount of time you stretch for each week eg. first week 15 mins a day, second week 20 mins a day, etc. so you're not pushing yourself too hard and risking injury.
