Don't know what your drawer situation is but I'd recommend some plastic stacking drawers. They are great for tshirts and other things. I've used mine all 4 years now. Freshman year I raised my bed and stacked them underneath. Now that I have a nicer dresser I use one of them in the bottom of my closet for medicine and toiletry refills.
A few random things:
poster puddy to hang things up on those awful cement walls
(depending on your flooring situation) a mini vacuum for carpet or a swiffer for tile.
