We did head bands one year and I didn't think I would like them but they were cute. Their hair was in a messy spikey bun. We got a lot compliments. I like them the best on the younger teams. After that season we did go back to a bow. Its just so classic. Here a couple pictures of some of the girls.

We never had anyones headbands fall out while competing. To keep them in place we bobbypinned them in. We figured out that the best way was to use 4 bobbypins, 2 on each side. And when you are putting them in make them in an x... so the bobbypins are crisscrossed. That held the headbands in really well. I hope that made sense.

I have some awesome glitter headbands on my website that will not fall out and can be used for any sport..soccer, dance, cheerleading, etc. My daughter wears them for cheer practice and soccer all the time and you can put your hair in a tight pony so your hair is not flying around. Check them out at www.prettygirlcosmetics.com! :cheering:
