All valid points but the main Difference is WORLDS has all the best teams there in all Level 5 & 6 divisions not just some...Which IMO, makes NCA a Mini Worlds
I get both sides.

advantage NCA (arena):
price to value ratio
venue
number of seats
quality of sight-lines for seating
staging
safe warmup room with plenty of time available
safe areas available for pre-warmup practicing/walkthroughs
history
# of spectators
ability to stay on time
transparent-ish ("opaque?") scoring
not as dependent on good weather
centrally located (-ish) for American Teams
actual cheer expert Justin Carrier announcing
fairer day 2 system
rewards consistency over hitting once.

advantage Worlds (Milk/Field House)
100% (vs 95%) of elite teams.
"World Champion" sounds better than "National Champion"
"intimacy" of performance floor. (another perspective would be "dangerously overcrowded")
proximity to Disney for teams there in part as tourists

You forgot weather...advantage Worlds. ;)

One other NCA advantage:
A scoring system that has been tried and tweaked and tried and tweaked and used 100 times prior to NCA.

Worlds scoring system is used exactly 1 time per year and is kind of an experimental system each year.

I didn't. Bad weather, while less likely at Worlds, would be dramatically more disruptive to the event than it would be at NCA.
I was thinking more along the lines of the +20 degree advantage of Florida in April, over February in Dallas. ;)

Although the weather we had here this week, couldn't be beat.

And a scoring system where the scoresheets are released earlier than 10 months into the season. (STILL waiting on Large Coed scoresheets for Worlds.)
