Hello !
I know I'm new here but I have been cheerleading for six years and I am not planning on quitting anytime soon:)
Anywaaaaay. To my question,
So today at cheer camp our coach taught us full twisting bahas, i am a back spot, i am understanding how to do them I just need help on how fast and how hard to twist mine, and the flyers arms.
alsoooo.. do i let the flyer initiate the twist or do I ?
I think she is planning on putting them in our routines this year.
Much Loveeeeeee! Stay Fierce<3
:help:

The skill done around :45?

If that's it... I've heard it as a whirley.
However, WUCheerS if this IS what you're talking about I just learned these as a backspot so it is fresh in my mind!

When you initiate the flip wait until she is completely upside down (looking like a hand stand position) and as soon as she gets there YOU will initiate the twist.
depending on which way you twist her, since we twist right you will take your left arm and pull it, along with the flyer across your right arm as hard and fast as you can. Make sure that the arm you are pulling goes ALL the way across the other one, so she rotates completely. However, make sure she doesn't resist the pull. she must twist with it also.
