I think he's hiding tattoos. We had a guy on our college team that was all in tattoos, it was the 90s (so you know the guys were in those hideous shorts), and he would wrap his calves to cover his.

Yep that's exactly what it is. UCA and NCA staff have to project a "role model" image for all the camps and competitions, so if you have tattoos they got to gooooo! Athletic tape works wonders.

oh yeah I just noticed that too! If you're going to be a crossover or fill in (I'm assuming that's what she is) then you need to have the same uniform.

yeah and the sports bra with the shorts make it look like a practice uni and now she really stands out since you can notice it.

oh wow! i wasn't expecting anything like that for diamonds...but i think i'm going to like it! soo sparkly & definitely looks unique as pgh said. i can't wait to see a better picture of the entire thing

Is that a necklace they're wearing? Definitely a cute uni, but how do they get away with that not being jewelry?
I also really want to see these in person. I bet the sparkly-ness looks amazing on the floor!
