All-Star Nfinity "vengeance" Vs. Varsity "last Pass"

Like RockstarCheer said you can't even make comparisions yet seeing as how the shoe hasn't been tried out yet. What I would be interested to know would be which one holds up longer. I have heard so many complain about Nfinities falling apart super quick, so it will be interesting to see if the Varsity shoe holds up longer. If that is the case will it change people's minds about this shoe?

If we want to point fingers about Varsity copying Nfinity, couldn't you say Nfinity copied Nike since Nike has a running shoe that looks similar (minus being brightly colored) in design and is marketed as being that light?

My high school competition team has the varsity inspire's and we use them for basketball games also and they've held up pretty well. I wear them to every practice, tumbling class/private and any conditioning things we have to do too and they've stayed in pretty good condition. I hope these new ones do the same. If they do, it could be the downfall of nfinity...

We currently wear the Nfinity Phoenix but am looking for a shoe with better ankle support. Do either of these shoes have that?

I suspect nfinity is private labeling for Varsity....meaning same shoe different label

I don't think so. This year at Battle Under the Big Top (Varsity event), Nfinity didn't have a table set up like they had in previous seasons. I had to go to the main offices to get some shoes. I always depended on them being there. I think they wanted to be but weren't allowed. (Which would have been ok I guess but Varsity didn't have their shoe there either so what's a cheer parent to do?)

Our high school team has them and there are some girls who wear nfinity's and say they are comfortable, but like nfinity better. I think they should just stick to uniforms just like nike should stick to spandex and other shoes. Cheer shoes are just not going to happen.

No it's not that easy to design..That Varsity Shoe has had a prototype since last Fall....Design, creating prototypes and production take about a year to create and deliver a shoe from what I've been told. ztaprincess is correct though, my wife has Nike running shoes that have the exact same holes in them...Nike was the first to do that design, everyone else copied them lol

Yeah I have the Nike shoes with that design and they are amazing. They are just as lightweight and flexible only they come in super cool colors and cost more. I actually wondered the other day if Nike had thought to make a white pair for the cheerleaders at the "Nike schools". If in a years time the Oregon A&T team has these shoes i better get credit for the idea.

I feel like varsity has been working on it for a while, just happens that they waited to drop it after Tate releases his. I am unsure but is it possible that Varsity tried to buy Infinity and Tate said ....um no way, so they went for the only thing they new how to do and that would be try to drown him out with a new shoe and their mega million dollar marketing capabilities? Call me crazy but that is what I think.

So is Nfinity the only shoe company allowed in Cheerleading? Last time I checked this was a Capitalist system. I like competition. I bought Nfinity's for years. I had so many complaints from customers that hated them because of how quick they tore up. But there basically was No other options for me to choose from so I just dealt with it. More Competition is good in my opinion. The Varsity shoe will make Nfinity make a better product and vice versa. Rockstar used the Inspire and will be using the Last Pass. So far so good for us. The durability has been better than Nfinity for the Inspire. It is a heavier shoe that works great for my Level 1,2,3,4 teams. Only a few of my level 5 kid complained saying they were too heavy. Now with the Last pass those kids will have a lighter shoe.

My point is, Nfinity doesn't own the shoe market. Nobody does. More choices is good IMO. Different strokes for different folks
