All-Star Parent Teams!!

It wasn't that ^ year But I think the one before. We were at Reach the Beach in Ocean City MD and there were 6 Parent Teams ! Ha Ha They even split the division. We got judged and ranked and everything ! It was great. One of the other parent teams were saying that we had coaches on the team and that everyone wasn't a "Parent". So ever since then we had our kids escort us onto the floor : )

Sounds like great fun! Hmmm I guess coaches can't be parents too, lol. I think it was a great solution and also so sweet!

Saw that team (maybe in Springfield or Atlantic City) and that was awesome. I did our parent hip-hop team that year and it was definitely fun and interesting to see what the kids go through. maybe will do it again someday.

When my cheer gym had a parent team, during the tumbling section they would run across the mat and hold up signs saying "punch front round off handspring whip whip double double" and such!

I was just about to post that. ACX did that too back when we had a parent team in like 2003! SO funny.

this was keystone extremes parents teams from last year they threw the routine together last minute but the kids loved it

All I can say is WOW!! That team is GOOD!! I remember when my daughter first started we tried one one year.......o yea.........we were baaadddd!! But there were some good teams!

I can say (with pride I might add) that we were the first team parents to win the CheerPower "Parent Participation" award. I really loved that gym, all of us parents really got into it and supporting our kids!!

This is great! I especially loved the athletes escorting,kissing their parents onto the mat, made me tear up a little!

OMG!! You are sooo right!! It was so touching watching those kids walk their parents out to the floor then kiss them good-bye!! It reminds me of the high school here. Towards the end of the football season, one game is dedicated to the seniors. All the the seniors are walked across the field escorted by their parents.
