I vote for ice flooring.

At least if you get hurt, you stay on the ground to ice it. Big win.

I had a gym teacher in elementary school who would rollerblade everywhere because his knees were starting to go and it was easier to just glide than walk.

I live in Chicago and the sidewalk has frozen over the past 3 winters. I've definitely considered getting ice-skates. Safe? Totally not. Fun? Ohhh yeaaaa.
