They are nice, but as an athlete they just feel unnessary.

If you compete in a bow, you practice in a bow. Our gym requires all athletes to be in the correct uniform, hair in a high pony with a bow, and it secured to your hair. CP doesn't go to the gym without a bow on her head.

I love these, but in my head I was thinking, one more thing for a kid to keep up with and one more thing for a mom to ask & worry about their kid having! I'm in on your pool for how long teams will be competing with the middle piece, before someone's gets lost.

I'd probably buy two..one that I would hot glue and one that I would have in a safe spot at home for when the coach decides to compete without the middle piece!

Just curious, what's the point of it being detachable? Like do they intend to ever compete without it? Or was it just the easiest way to attach it?

I got practice bows for our girls but they wanted them. We got plain pink ones so they could decorate their own bows and have it be personal. [emoji106]

This is the bow all of our seniors wear. My teams uniforms are rather black so the bow gives a nice pop of colour. They sparkle like crazy!

Juniors wear the same type bow in black and youth and mini wear silver ones. The minis even have a smaller version because the regular ones are bigger than their heads, lol.
