for all those bow makers herefor 3" bows, what length would you recommend?
im having a hard time getting the right length of ribbon to make it look proportional!

26.5 - 27" and I use Aleene's fast grab tacky glue for most bows except for very light colors on the top layer

For 3" wide, I use 27". I use Heat N Bond or Liquid Stitch. I just bought some Super 77 to try out with some dot fabric. I've never used either before, so we'll see how it turns out! Any advice?

omg i have such a bow obssession! im always trying to get people to make bows for me! sadly im arts and crafts inept and whenever i try to make bows its just a hott mess! but i love all these bows im so jealous :/

I have just made my first bows. They are to be given out as tumbling prizes as each cheerleader in my program has individual tumbling goals, when they get the tumble they will get the bow. I need a bit more practice though.

Thanks they are the first ones I have made so hopefully they will get better. They did the trick though, 5 cheerleaders got the tumble they had been working on and got their bow yesterday
