Hotronix, Hix or two of mine...Hi, this is a question for people that use/have a heat press... Is there names you could give me that you recommend? I am looking to spend 300$ or less but it still needs be good quality and work pretty well. What kind of heat press do you guys have? I'm looking to use it for rhinestone transfers and vinyl (and maybe fusing fabric to grosgrain). Thanks!
Rhinestones looks like jems and are glass, whereas rhinestuds are metal and do not catch the light and sparkle like rhinestones, they are also much cheaper than rhinestones.....if you want a nice blingy look, use rhinestones. If you want an inexpensive rhinestone look, use rhinestuds. Also rhinestuds are a great alternative if you are doing designs for men because they don't sparkle like rhinestones.....@Tosh
Do you know what the difference between rhinestones and rhinestuds are? The pictures make them look pretty similar but Im not entirely sure.
Hi, your cheapest option I think is a Cameo which runs between $250-300. I have never used it and I do not know what additional software you will need to make rhinestone templates; hopefully someone on here that has one can add some additional information. I have a KNK Maxx which came with the software but runs around $1,200.00 which is great because it included the software for everything.I have a few questions about bows and bow making
1. Whats the best machine to purchase for vinyl vutting, and making rhinestone transfers, etc? Whats the cheapest thats still pretty good.
2. Best way to get more shop views? or i should say, business in general
3. Whats the cheapest place to buy vinyl and glitter transfers? Only place i know of, you dont get very much for what you buy.
thank you!

2. As far as generating shop views, it is always slow at first. Use social media: facebook and instagram. But to be honest, most of your views/customers will come from word of mouth. I also vent at various cheer and dance competitions which generates customers/views on my site. Also I recommend investing a few hundred dollars in a nice tri-fold flyer/brochure and hand them out or mail to your local schools and gyms.
3. I purchase my vinyl from speciality graphics or Sthals. I have never purchased pre-made transfers, so I can't comment as to how much it costs, but I do make and sell custom designs and rhinestone transfers.
Good luck!
