Tennessee doesn't really have any state specific rules. You can compete whenever, wherever. Competition seasons typically run October-ish - February/March. Most teams do UCA or NCA, but quite a few just do allstar comps like Cheersport & Jamfest. You're not supposed to compete spring floor, but nothings enforced so a lot of teams do anyways. Our state (TSSAA) is usually the 2nd week in November and it's ran by UCA. There isn't any qualification to get there and a lot of teams don't actually do it. State is a qualifier for UCA nationals. Regionals are just brand ran and don't qualify you for anything other than that specific brands nationals. UCA Nationals and Cheersport Nationals are probably the two most popular competitions for teams in TN.
I have no clue what school it was but at one of the Jamfests in Nashville there was I want to say this middle school.. They were like so amazingly awesome!!
I want to say there colors were green and gold? Or something idk but I'm sure it had gold.
Anyways half there girls also did an Allstar team because I remember seeing them at awards and half were half way in one team clothes and half way in other clothes! Well they competed spring floor. In fact I only seen one time where a school was at those competitions and didn't compete spring floor.
I remember because they announced to us that this team from Kentucky was going around back to the practice area to compete on a dead floor and we could go watch and I remember like no one in the arena walked to the other side to watch but the judges did. Lol sorry that was random!
