Anyone have any tips on like what to expect the first day?

Check in at the barn (they direct you when you first come in). Sign up for any extra activities at this time - rope course, paintball, horseback riding.
Get cabin assignment; go to cabin, pick bed and unpack.
The only other thing you will need to do the first day besides hang out, explore and meet new people is the evaluation session during which time they assign you your group for your mandatory session.
They also do not serve food until dinner but you can always buy something in the canteen.
Have a great time, hope you love it as much as my cp does!
