Before corona, I had a round off handspring tuck, and a standing tuck. My goal was to have a full by tryouts, but because of covid-19, is that goal still something I could accomplish. I taught myself how to do a layout on the grass, and I can do a full on the trampoline. I've been doing a lot of drills for fulls. Are fulls something I could learn at home safely?

No. This may be harsh, and you may not want to hear it, but a full is not something you should 1) teach yourself how to do or 2) learn without equipment such as soft landing mats, tumble tracks, and coaches to help you. I’m sure your coaches will appreciate a beautiful layout over having a full. And if you perfect your layout, a full will be much easier to do than if you have a new/unrefined layout. Good luck!

Get at home drills you can safely work at home (if possible, it may not be) from your coaches, and send them videos often to critique your form. Don't try to tumble at home. It's harder to fix mistakes than to learn correctly the first time. Focus on conditioning too to maintain strength. And remember that everyone has been out of the gym and on lockdown (mostly, but likely everyone planning to attend your gym tryouts) for 2 months now. No cochleae should be expecting anyone to walk back into the gym with new skills, or even where they left off. Stay in shape and it'll come back quick, but don't expect to be where you were when you left the gym

Our coaches are against trampoline tumbling-easy to lose proper form. I say perfect your layout on the airtrack. Leave the full for when you are back in the gym.
