Not trying to claim varsity made the song at all, but that most of us in the cheer would not know it all these years later if it wasn't always played. Every camp and competition I've been to since 2001 or so has played this song so many times!

We even used it for our band dance for Game Day competition this year!

Cheetahs apparently had the highest score but had a legality? Haven't seen any scores though.

Edit: Seeing on Twitter that Cheetah's Raw Score was 142.7 and they had a 4.00 legality
