I'm not excusing lack of execution for the time of night. I'm sorry but I'm not.
The event has run for multiple seasons with this same format. The ending of LC and LS have occurred late at night, awards sometimes the next morning technically. These athletes should be training to get used to it.
When I cheered in 2013 we practiced from 8:45-11pm. Our first competition was 2 runs in one night and we competed after 8:30, and close to 11.
If 32 people on a large team can hit their routine late at night, so can the other 4. Stop blaming it on the time of night and excusing the fact that sometimes, even the best of the best can fail.

This, we all are not not new to the game. Even with Dance we practice outside to prepare for the hot windy bandshell. This isn't the first time USAF has gone over on the schedule.
