I mean they should be thankful for even making it to worlds.

They are kids who worked their whole year for this..at this point in their life second is their biggest disappointment..I understand the tears...we all have moments where life's disappointments bring us to tears..as adults we realize that this is just one competition and not the end of the world...but to them at this moment it is..I bet there were some moms of the second Place team crying in the crowd as well...they just don't have cameras shoved in their face...someday they will be thankful...today isn't it lol

And how do you know that they aren't thankful for being at worlds? Seeing them announced in 2nd/3rd is just a tiny snapshot of their lives. You can't say that they aren't grateful just because they're disappointed for half a minute.

Next year SE will win gold with KP...I can feel it.

This! I was thinking, as talented as SE is, I'm all about the great stories & "the feels" so I would love to see SE's "comeback" win be with KP on the team (this is me assuming she will make SE)
