thank goodness someone else can read the deductions guidelines

To clarify:
A "omg she almost fell but by miracle saved the stunt!" is a bobble

A fall to squish, sponge, cradle or any awkward position is a stunt fall

A fall to the floor or one that a spotter must intervene is a Major Fall

Source: USASF guidelines and me being a deduction judge for 12 competitions this year alone. (6 years total)

My apologies. I was just basing my opinion on precedent and did not actually look at the deduction guidelines.

Yes a fall is a fall. A fall to floor is a major fall

What exactly is a "fall to the floor"? A lot of stunts fall to a cradle before being placed down on the floor, but that's a LOT different than the flyer crashing to the floor without being caught at all in a cradle.

But there should still be some sort of cut to get into Finals for the other countries. Finals in the International divisions shouldn't be a parade of nations here. It's supposed to be a top level competition. They're cutting good Sr teams left and right because they missed the top 10, while the Intl divisions have become a huge exhibition for lower level foreign teams.
