So tired... I'm currently on a break during a class. I moved that particular class because it was supposed to be monday morning and staying up til dawn watching worlds and teaching at 9 AM didn't seem like such a great idea.
Turns out I'm still exhausted from trying to reestablish a regular sleep pattern, AND my students are completely lethargic today.
One more hour to go...

So I'm a part of a Run Disney group on facebook and there is a race there this weekend and someone in the group was like I'm seeing a lot of cheerleaders at the airport going to Orlando, is there a competition or something this weekend? Someone replied, "yea there was some kind of international competition this past weekend, but this weekend is just a national so it shouldn't be as bad" haha. But then someone said "Worlds was last weekend, the Summit is this weekend which is levels 1-5r", so lady if you are on here, hi let's be friends!

Does anyone have experience with daith piercings? I got mine done today and it didn't hurt to bad. I did the warm soak and cleaned it but then I moved it and I'm not sure if I was supposed to because now it hurts. Sos

I wouldn't worry about it too much! I don't have that piercing but I did get my tragus done twice a long time ago. It probably just hurts because its a new hole in your body lol. I was always told not to touch it or move it around a lot, so I would avoid that. Mine didn't hurt when I got it done but it did hurt later. Make sure you're not over cleaning it and watch out for excessive swelling. If you're really worried you could always go back to/call the piercer to make sure what you're experiencing is normal!

I (and my entire class) just bombed out cognitive neuropsychology final so I'm extremely bummed out and upset because I studied everything in our handouts, read the chapters, drew the diagrams and I felt really confident about the material going in to the test. The test was 10 multiple choice questions (which were all fine, there was only one I wasn't 100% sure about) and 80 points of diagrams and fill in the blanks. It was basically all brain anatomy which was not something he stressed in class. We talked about what places did what and were responsible for what mental processes, and I knew all of that but I (and everyone else I've talked to) had to guess on the location of most of them because that wasn't the focus.

And I almost started crying in the library because one of my old professors came up to me and asked how I was doing and told me how proud he was of all my hard work and that it was going to pay off.

It has been a rough day.

Ugh neurophysiology suuuckks so much. I'm in A&P 2 right now and am failing miserably, don't know how I'll pull off a C :(

I like it and think I understand it until I get to the tests and find out that I know absolutely nothing [emoji20] I got a C on the first test and a B+ on the second test but the grace of God. This is the only class I don't have an A in right now and I'm terrified that this stupid test is going to drop me to a C and totally screw my GPA.

Sorry for being whiny and annoying but if a test is all multiple choice and done on a scantron it should not take DAYS to put the grade in the grade book. Especially if that class is the only class that the professor teaches. I would understand if he had three other tests to grade but he doesn't. And our final research papers still aren't in the grade book for two of my classes. I'm already really high strung so this is making it even worse ugh
