GREs suck and should die a slow death. I took them twice 5 years ago and I still feel traumatized. I hate standardized testing in general, but these were just awful.

Sorry. I wish you the best of luck and hopefully you fare better than I did!

Ugh I am not looking forward to it. Thank you!

8 1/2 days of high school left :D
How excited are you?! Former-cp had her last official day this past Friday. Now it is 3 weeks of IB and AP tests, and then "senior project" which I am not quite sure what that is. I just know I had to sign something stating I was aware that she would be in and out of the school building during that time. I think it means they get to sleep late and go in when they want!

So excited! I only have to go to one full day this week (2 ap tests and the other days I only have class in the morning) and then just have to get through 4.5 days and I'm finally done! I don't have to take any test finals, they're all projects or I've already taken them so I'm not even having to stress very much about those so the rest of the year is easy! Besides the AP physics test but hey if I fail it is what it is.... I'm probably going to need to retake physics anyway since I've learned nothing.
I'm so ready to be done! I'm such a typical high school senior but I'm so excited for next year :) where is former-CP headed? I'll be at Mizzou!

So even though senior night gifts are usually done by the juniors of each sport, our juniors on my softball team didn't seem like they were going to do anything, so another sophomore decided she'd do it, and somehow I let myself be roped into basically being her second-in-command for this, so all week I've been stressing about these senior gifts, but they turned out great! We made something like those candy bouquets, except instead of a vase, we asked them what their favorite type Gatorade was and we put it on top of those. And as of Thursday morning, I'll have my driver's license, so we're going early before the game on Friday to go decorate the field (styrofoam cups on the fence, set up the gifts, stuff like that). We've both been stressing (since we just got all of the stuff yesterday and she still hasn't gotten everyone's money) and I just told her "hey, think about it this way: by this time next year, we'll be pros. We've gotten this one out of the way, and we'll each have another: yours for volleyball and mine for cheer." All she said was "I hope so!"

ETA: here's a picture of the Gatorade bottle

Obviously they don't look exactly like that, but they turned out really really well

Penn State, and she is so excited as well! She has orientation June 3-4 and cannot wait.
She feel the same way about AP Calc test tomorrow. She is hoping to do well so she can get credits for it but she's still planning on taking Calc I next year. She had the English IB test today with part 2 tomorrow, AP Calc tomorrow, IB Bio Wednesday and Thursday, IB HOTA next Thursday, Friday, Monday, IB French the following Monday and Tuesday, and finally IB Exercise Physiology Thursday and Friday of that last week. It is an insane three weeks but at this point, she can only study and do her best!
Good luck to you with your exams, and enjoy the rest of senior year. Former-cp was very involved with her yearbook as well (was features editor) so I know she is excited to get her hands on the finished product.

This year the underclass men parents refused to do senior gifts because the apparel was "too expensive" so a single senior parent got us each a monogrammed blanket and we made our own senior posters [emoji58][emoji58][emoji58] props to you for doing all that, I know the seniors will appreciate it!

Ugh I took Calc BC last year and that test was a struggle so I know how she feels. Definitely taking at least Calc 2 over if not Calc 1 also next year. I left an entire free response question almost completely blank (I had no clue what to do so I just wrote an equation and took the derivative) and still managed to get a four so I'm sure she'll be fine!
Thank you! I had Psych today (which I'm confident I did well on), Physics Wednesday (I know nothing) and Stat next Wednesday which will probably be fine. We don't have IB at my school and reading former-cp's test schedule I'm sort of glad about that!
Getting the finished yearbook is so exciting and I'm still on cloud 9 about how our book turned out this year. Most of the "complaints" have been silly things (ie "I'm nowhere that's not fair" *goes to index and sees that the kid is on three pages*) so I think our student body is pretty happy with it too. Good luck to former cp on her tests and I hope she (and her school) loves the yearbook!

Nothings better than flying home from Summit and your friends' phone getting stolen from the airport bathroom... BY A CHEERLEADER. I hate people so much.
