Same for my Cp. We always end up ordering extra length on the skirt even though she is only 5'1". Hopefully that is an option here.

CP had a uniform with that cut out in the back. It was 100% bra friendly, just not racer back bra.

Check out lululemon just for the options on what kinds of backs they can have. I have at least 10 different styles of sports bra, all supportive! Things can be cute and functional!

Some of the C9 sports bras (Target brand) have adjustable backs - the ones that have the string straps. On some of them they have hooks on the back that you can switch to non-racerback. Not sure if you have a Target where you are but you can get them online. They run around $16.

Some of the more heavy-duty sports bras are usually non-racerback-ed. Or convertible.. for example: Marvel Underwire Bra - Wired Sports Bras - Bras | Title Nine has a "regular" bra back and can be set up as a racerback style, as well. The different strap patterns distribute the weight differently and one way may be more comfortable for the wearer, but the support is the same.



Side note, I've gotten to become real life bra brigade since having a few athletic patients with large breasts and pretty terrible mid-back pain. I treat them for the pain, of course, but then we discuss bras and support. Doing the fierce board proud

This isn't really in regards to any specific uniform, but I was in forever 21 the other day and meant to post here that they have A LOT of strappy/weird backed "sports" bras that could be a tiny bit helpful with some of the crazy unis. Obviously they are all "low impact" and not really well suited for cheer... but if I were a self-conscious teenager again, I'd want SOMETHING under my uniform versus nothing or versus that painful plastic crap. Also, they're all under $15 so, worth experimenting with.

I'm not sure why they'd make that bra for "athletics," but it does work with one shouldered, regular shirts. Capezio or Pizzazz have made a sturdier one shoulder bra for years that I know plenty of cheerleaders have used, but unfortunately with the back cut outs of Orange (and other teams for that matter) the functional one won't work.
