I have officially gotten nothing done except listen to it on repeat and 400 times and cry.. The world may never fully know what these kids have overcome.. This music tells that story..
JR is a genius he continues to reinvent himself .. This mix technically is in a league of it's own. He could settle for being the best and just keeps on setting a new higher standard.. What an honor..
Two extremes.. same goal, same scheme, same ambition achieve the SAME DREAM
It's so good I think my dad should play it on his station(s)....LOL

Just please make sure I'm not up in the front row watching during day two...I do NOT need to be seen on ESPN in front of all of America dancing my sweet little tail off.....

i wish the teams i work with now could understand that story concept...their only real concern is that they just really wanna dance to lady gaga...or have Brittany in their music-_-...and they dont understand why i would ever want to tell a story in a cheer mix-_-"this is not a childrens book cody, ive never heard a "story" in a cheer mix before".
this is why i appreciate courtney. its an art, its a story, its beautiful...why cant people grasp this:mad:

i thought there were a lot of voiceovers to, and i miss the pyramid music, but over all i really like it, but of course i like anything cea puts out haha.

Music is the shorthand of emotion...Leo Tolstoy :)

...Too many voiceovers? Or is that just me? It kind of gave me a headache.

I think how people approach music means something different to everyone. I could see how kids on that team might relate to that music and it motivates them to do the best they can. If that helps CEA Coed hit the best routine they ever could at Worlds, then it is a great mix.

But being out of the loop its just a ton of voice overs to me. It's not bad music, but it gets kinda annoying (to the outsider).

Ummm... This music is 2:32.

I don't know if the Worlds packet is straight a bluff or they are serious, but, if they are serious this will be a 5 point deduction per judge. I don't care if you change it or don't, but I just don't want to see teams lose because of stricter time rules.

From the packet (they typed in all caps, not me):

B.Routine performance time may not exceed two minutes and thirty seconds. Timing will begin with the first movement, voice, or note of music, whichev- er comes first.

C. If a team exceeds the time limit, a five point per judge penalty for every 5 seconds over the time limit will be assessed for each violation (i.e. 0-5 sec- onds = 5 points, 6-10 seconds = 10 points, etc.). BECAUSE PENALTIES ARE SEVERE, IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT ALL TEAMS TIME THEIR PERFORM- ANCE SEVERAL TIMES PRIOR TO ATTENDING THE COMPETITION AND LEAVE A SEVERAL SECOND CUSHION TO ALLOW FOR VARIATIONS IN SOUND EQUIPMENT.
