I've never heard of five guys. I don't like fast food hamburgers, but if I want one i like the burgers at Blake's Lotaburger. I hate Wendys and sometimes McDonalds. But I really like burger king.

I am not that happy about pastries at all having a brother that is a pastry chef. Happy about KFC though because I love Chicken and we do not have any resturant chain that specialize in Chicken yet. The swedish food rules are alot dirrent that yours. Our food is not as unhealthy and greasy. McDonald's is still bad though, in my opinion. (nothing bad with yor food though, like i said i wanna go to the us SOLELY for the food.)
oh that's cool that there are rules like that. I usually don't go to eat at fast food restaurants a lot. It's only few days out of the month.

I rearely eat out either. like at a resturant or a fast food chain. Not as common to do that over here. Not were I live. Maybe in the bigger cities.
I live about 30 mins and 50 mins from 2 cities so it's only when I go on the weekends to go grocery shopping and usually eat at a restaurant. Only fast food when in a hurry.

I enjoy the fact that my roommate has class at 2:00pm because I get to watch General Hospital like the fan girl that I am without any interruption. I get to gush at the screen and curse at it in privacy lol.

Peanut allergies suck and I refuse to go to 5 guys- ever! They are soooo careless about their burgers and I've literally seen someone after I told them I have a peanut allergy pick up peanut stuff with the same gloves on that they made my burger with- before they even made my burger. Disgusting.

I do love me some chickfila though. It's so weird that people up north don't have them. They're literally everywhere in the south!!!! I had 4 within 15 minutes of me in knoxville. Where I'm at now there's one on campus and one right near my apartment! I also LOVE zaxbys for chicken. It's so yummy. In-n-out burger is the greatest fast food burger place ever!

Oh,and to avoid a double post.... I also got a puppy yesterday as an early birthday present:)

I lived in Pennsylvania up until 3 months or so ago, and there were plenty of chick fil as. Now in North Carolina, yhere are even more.

The only place mentioned here that I've eaten at is Wendy's.... Lol. We don't have any of these places here except Five Guys but it's not a big deal like you guys make it out to be. I'm not too sad though, I'm not a big fast food person. And we have wegmans :p I wouldn't trade my weggies for anything. I don't know how you all live without one!
I miss wegmans, there was one 5 minutes from my house when I lived in PA and another 15 minutes in the opposite direction. It's the major thing both me and my mom miss. Wegmans is honestly the best store there is.

There's about 5-7 different wegmans within 20 minutes of me. I went to college in a town where there was no wegmans and I had severe wegmans withdrawals for four years. It was terrible. Relying on Walmart superstore food was beyond awful. Especially while you've been a loyal member of the wegmans cult since birth.

I always say I want to live all over but I'm not sure I can stand living without a wegmans nearby. They are definitely a necessity. I am so sorry you lost your wegmans when you moved. My heart breaks for you. Really. If only they would expand world wide.

Love Five Guys, soooo expensive here though. There are so many fast food chains I want to visit when I eventually go see my brother in California. I'm so gluttonous...

I drove from Nova Scotia to Florida last summer but didn't eat anywhere except mcdonalds, Olive Garden and the food places in Disney world. I regret not checking here for different places to go. I was pretty excited about mcdonalds chicken clubs though because we don't have those here.

Okay, so I live in a mobile home (haven't been here very long) and recently I've been coming home from school and my back door's been wide open. This never happens at night when I'm asleep. I lock the door at night and go out my front one in the morning (and leave it unlocked for the 4 hours I'm at school because I live out of the way and not really around anyone). And when I find the door open, it's still locked. Today is probably the 5th time it's happened in 2 or 3 months. I know this could be an air pressure thing but why would it only happen during the day when I'm at school? At first I was way more worried about snakes coming in than I was about people, but the more it happens the more I stress. I'm sure it's nothing, but I live primarily alone (my mom is gone a lot) and I can't help but get paranoid. Tomorrow I'm going to try locking the front door and seeing if anything changes. If it is the air pressure, any advice on how I can get it to stop opening?

Is IKEA a good representation of Swedish food? I love the fish based meals they do (and the meatballs basically fuel my life)...if it is then you have it good!

Yeah. We eat alot of fish. and meatballs. Meatballs is one of our national food types. With mashed potatoes and lingonberrys that is. And Pea soup is another swedish favorite. We even have a Swede-fied version of Tacos that is very popular amongst the younger population. And Swedish Pizza is really good.
