How come all the newbies say "got it. Love the rules. Blah, blah." But no one ever reads the Fierce Board terms pinned to the top of the newbie section???

And all y'all enablers answering what "cp" stands for are to blame.

I just asked "are we wearing sneakers tomorrow?" In our cheer group message and got the response "wtf are sneakers"
:banghead: the "living in missouri but refusing to change what I call things even after 10 years because I learned to speak in virginia" struggle is VERY real.
If you don't play tennis WHY DO YOU CALL THEM TENNIS SHOES?
I call them tennis shoes because I hate the word sneakers (ick) and that's just what we've always called them in my family lol

I didn't see the terms but after checking out some threads, it was my first question in the newbie thread when I joined. Hopefully that counts for something!
ETA: just realized that might be exactly what you're talking about[emoji15] oops!

I'm trying to dress nice (like casual but pretty) EVERY day this school year...
tomorrow is day 8 of school and im already running out of outfit ideas...
I ran out of idea the same day I fell into senioritis, aka the 2nd week of freshman year when the second week of school was spirit week complete w/ pj day

.... I've dressed that way once this week and that's enough for me :D I seriously bum it every day. I just like being comfortable! Plus sports bras are life. I hate real bras.

ugh wear sweatpants every day while you still can! unless you become a nurse/surgeon/someone who wears scrubs because those are just as comfy. technically i'm allowed to wear sweats right now but in your second year you get your "blue coat" and third year you get your white coat and work in the clinics and have to dress like a doctor (professionally, like guys w/ a tie) with your coat every day. even if you have no patients that day and you're sitting in a classroom. this is my final semester of wearing what i want, but you definitely get judged for looking bummy when 80% of the school is dressed professionally. grad school is stupid.

Come to my school, we are required to wear sweats/gym clothes every day unless we are giving a presentation. Even then it's not always required to dress up. I love it!!! I'm also going to hopefully work in a clinic where the dress code is yoga pants, I hate wearing real clothes lol. Some of my clinical rotations are/will be in places where they wear scrubs, I'm ok with that too.

I rarely bummed in college, but I did do a lot of over-sized sweaters with leggings and boots. My moccasin boots were one of my go-to's...SO COMFORTABLE. I may or may not have 3 pairs of Minnetonkas. :)

ETA: When I did wear sweats, I usually wore my athlete tracksuit. At least it matched.

I basically live in nike track shorts while it's warm enough. In the winter I live in leggings and uggs. Being an adult is going to be rough :D

Dressing myself every morning is one of my biggest struggles in life! I am at a very awkward stage- I am in my late 20's but I have the job of someone at least 20 years older then me. So I feel kind of weird if I dress trendy to work- (we are business casual) because I stick out so much when I am in management meetings, but I feel like a mess when I wear my normal clothes. I honestly wear the same thing every day just in different colors. I wear a pair of dress pants, a fitted t-shirt and a sweater/cardigan over it. I hate it, but that outfit is like my sweats or scrubs, its just so comfortable! I signed up for Le Tote recently and I feel so uncomfortable wearing a "business" dress, or skirt! I tell myself I am going to wear them, and I put them on in the morning, but always change before walking out of the house. When I go shopping I have a mental break down! I want to be able to dress a certain way, because I feel like it will look more professional, but when I go into those stores, I don't feel comfortable at all! I need a personal stylist and someone to take down all of the mirrors in my house! lol

I wear jeans and a tshirt or plaid shirt everyday, I have a few dressier shirts but u can't be bothered to do my hair or makeup to match them. I usually only wear sweats or yoga pants on the weekend, never leggings because I have a big bum and they go see through... My roommate on the other hand ONLY wears leggings, she doesn't even own anything else, I'm guessing she has 50 pairs! It's crazy, and she always has on some sort of lace or knitted sweater. We're complete style opposites!

I need someone to make woman's dress clothes more comfy. There's no reason dress pants that feel like sweatpants have not been invented yet. Or woman's clothes that actually keep you warm. I'm over wearing 16 layers in the winter because the fashionable clothes are super thin. (And see through....) It's the 21st century. Anything is possible!

Maybe then I'll consider not wearing leggings, hoodie, and flip flops everyday of my life.

I agree, the only reason why my pants are really comfortable is because they are at least 4 years old, and have been washed to death! Thicker regular dress pants are needed though big time! I have a few pairs that are made from a thicker material and they are so stiff, and itchy. Not Fun!
