OT New Random Thread Pt. 3

My Anatomy class senior year consisted of chatting with Patty Swinton and a pig dissection. Besides getting sent to in school for telling a sub that she didn't need to speak to us like we were slow, I don't remember much else about it.

My Bio class freshman year had a pig dissection but my friend and I sat out in the hall the entire hour and protested it (Not that I could have done the dissection anyway because I'm allergic to latex and they didn't have latex free gloves). We still got full credit for the lab though, I think we just did textbook questions instead.

Record of the Year are usually singles released from albums that are released after the cut off date. So Drunk would qualify but wouldn't be as competitive as other songs that aren't on an album, because it's already on a released album. And Song is the lyrical composition of the song, and to be honest, I love Bey, I am the president of my chapter of The Bey Hive, but Drunk doesn't have the lyrical quality of the songs nominated.

But she'll probably get Album of the Year and sweep her categories and keep it moving.

Excited to see Ariana get her noms in, should've been nominated last year. Same with Childish.

Record is SUPPOSED to be about the artist's performance itself in the song.
Also All About That Bass and Shake It Off were nominated in Song, lyrically it is much better than both of those.

And to add I didn't think Drunk was a good video. Partition on the other hand should have been nominated for Best Music Video.
All in all she got 6, and is now the most nominated female of all time, and only needs to win 2 to surpass Aretha in 2nd place for # of wins (she needs 16 to get 1st so we'll give it a few years)

I am a complete coffee addict. I live off of venti caramel iced coffees w nonfat milk lol. I alsoooo have a major problem with Diet Coke. I can't drink regular pop anymore bc it just doesn't taste good.
I'm a really big fan of unsweetened black tea. Sweet tea is repulsive tho lol

Same. Up until a few years ago I thought it's only purpose for existence was to be used to make "diet" sweet tea (when I was little my mom used to order unsweet tea and put Sweet n Low in it to be a little healthier)

I also love dr pepper and I could drink a million a day.

Unsweet tea is disgusting.

I have a few times been in Ohio and ordered sweet tea and they are like we have ice tea and sugar on the table.... I get so annoyed but say ok.

I load my unsweetened tea up with a million sugar packets and get it just perfect and then the waiter comes by and tops my glass off....

Thanks for being rude now I have to figure out my sugar to tea ratio again since you just poured unsweet tea in my sweet tea glass!!

Honestly nothing. She just likes this group of girls & they hate me so of course they make up a lot of stuff about me & try & get me in trouble for stuff I don't do..

The only iced tea we get in the UK is liptons peach or lemon. I'd kill for some sweet tea, I got so addicted at worlds!

I actually loved dissections, the only thing I don't like is the smell. Earth worm, frog, eyeball...pretty sure I dissected the pig 2 possibly 3 times (I can't remember if we did it in 8th grade or not). I was always the one that did all of the work for my lab partner.

I'm just glad they got rid of the cat dissections by the time I took Anatomy. My disgust and fear of cats by far trumps my interest in dissection. The thought of touching I living cat makes my skin crawl....no way could I dissect a dead one

So Grammy nominations are coming out today...
Drunk In Love didn't get nominated for Song of the Year or Record of the Year, and also neither Partition nor Drunk In Love got nominated in Best Music Video, yet Lil Jon's Turn Down For What did.
So... If you guys see on the news that Grammy committee members are going missing... Don't anyone be telling the police where I live please.

You're not anywhere as near as scary as the Beygency! They're on the job, I'm sure...
