We're huge Black Ops fans. We have a couple friends who were on that team last year, but just aged out. Won't miss Black Ops!!

I can see us, we'll meet, scream out C-A-Bullets a bunch, and run together down to the arena, fighting for seats. lol

Nice introduction to each other, huh? :p

I somehow feel I'm not mentally prepared for how manic this competition is going to be. It's the last weekend of my year abroad and instead of just heading straight home or lying on a beach somewhere, I'm choosing to endure two days of intense cheerleading. I must be crazy! Thank goodness I've got five days back in Orlando to recover before heading home!

Worlds last year was probably the best experience of my whole year abroad and my visa expires about two weeks before worlds this year so I couldn't stay for it :( hopefully NCA will be a good compromise :)

About 75% of the team from last year aged out it seems. This is my CP's first year that she is worlds team eligible and super excited to be on the team. Were keeping our fingers crossed!

This is certainly the expectation, but as we all know, this doesn't always seem to be the case LOL. That was why I said to pick your "break" carefully LOL. Certainly not close to the big name teams, LAG, LCO ....;)

My friend and I got in and were trying to find seats while our hubbies were stuck outside. They finally got in through the section 25 door and were trying to quickly (yea right!) make their way to where we were in section 11. 2 seats. TWO! We were so harassed by security for those 2 seats. We weren't moving our stuff. We were 4 hours early.

Team sitting in front of us, their whole team got up and went to awards in another arena.....literally saved 3 ROWS of seats. No issues whatsoever.

I wasn't moving. They were going to have to arrest me. I was seeing my baby!!! Bwahahaha.

I've always LOVED NCA. From having been to watch at both NCA and Worlds, it's a different (but still just as exciting) dynamic in the arena. It's really cool because it's one of the first times a lot of the big teams in every division are facing off and the energy in the arena is electrifying. The Convention Center can be a bit wild, I will say that. But the energy throughout the competition for all levels is awesome! You'll be glad you went (after you recover lol). Pack your own snacks, bring a portable charger for your phone, and sit back and enjoy the show!

Last year I sat in the arena from 10am until after 6pm. I made friends with a security guard who I would let know I was taking a "break". He was wonderful. Even during the lockdown, he would let me back in. My seat mates saved my seat during said break LOL.
This saving of full aisles of seats is absolutely unacceptable. I have been known to "consolidate" these "reserved" areas LOL.

After worlds I think you'll find NCA to be as good if not better. Not that I don't love worlds or the Milk House, but the size of the arena is so much more impressive. Have fun!!

It got ugly with the security guys over the one open seat in the middle of the group next to me when large coed and LAG were not too far away and it had started really getting nuts over seats. The seat was open because an 8 month along pregnant mom had to go to the bathroom and the security guy was all over giving her seat away and refusing to allow her husband to save it for her.

That conversation between hubs and the security guy wasn't fit for children's ears.

Her seat was still there when she got back :)

I say, invest in a pogo stick or segway! You can make it roar so everyone gets out of your way! Haha

This is what @BlueCat needs :)
