Question about Pink... is it necessary for them to have all that tumbling since they're an IO5 team?

I also wondered the same thing about Wildcats. Although it is quite pleasing to the eye!

Oh wow that's interesting, I never realised. That's pretty cool, gives people who came to cheer later in life a chance to go to worlds without having to do level 6 I guess

ETA: Are you sure? Because I just looked on the Varsity website and there's scoresheets for Youth 5, Restricted 5, Level 5, Coed 6 and AG 6, but no Open 5?

Tumbling has the same emphasis on the Varsity scoresheet in IO(C)5 and IO(C)6 that it does for senior teams. On the worlds scoresheet it's about 15% tumbling and 65% building for all 4 international divisions. So you might need all of the tumbling earlier in the season.

I love that when they told the coaches to congratulate each other, the athletes got up to congratulate each other and make a whole big circle.
I'm really glad smoed let T&S have their moment when they were called and didn't start screaming before it was time, teams who freak out before they're called is my pet peeve.
