Nike Pros are made to be worn by themselves. There are other brands that are made like that too. When I think "spankies" I think of what you'd wear under cheer skirts (when they aren't built in) and would look super awkward if you wore them by themselves. They can be used interchangeably though.

well now it's a quiz. everyone on my Facebook feed is posting like "north jersey, obviously" because that's how we all speak... so i take it, assuming I, too, will obviously get north jersey. it says birmingham, alabama. ALABAMA!!!!!! i am born and raised, pure new jersey. i am having an identity crisis. like what?!?!?! no way. i'm so confused. (no offense to anyone in Alabama with an Alabamian accent, it's just... I'm from New Jersey. anything non-Jersey is a travesty.) i think they might kick me out...

It pegged my accent so distinctly that it showed three towns in MA. One near where I grew up, Boston - where I went to college and another town near where my parents grew up.

I have lived in 5 states and two countries since I left Boston, but I guess my accent never changed

What someone else said spankies are like briefs which would be super awk to wear but my high school wears nike pro type spandex under our unis which is perfectly fine to practice in.

Nike pros also usually have a longer inseam and, if you don't wear the band folded over, go up higher on your waist.
