All-Star Worlds Cost?

With teams performing on friday now, a huge benefit that I hear from people is being able to go straight to Sat. They are willing to spend more chasing that paid in hopes of getting one. Not saying its good, just sayin its being done

For non-international teams that compete on Friday ( Small Senior and Small Small) it is very nice. But it's kinda double edged sword. The more you compete in a venue the more comfortable and the more experienced you are. If a very strong team in the division just had an at-large competing 3 times in 3 days is not necessarily a bad thing.

I'm going this year completely as a spectator.
Flight: $260 round trip
Hotel: $160 (splitting a room with 3 other people)
Park Hopper: Free (my friend is a manager for Disney )

So before food and shopping I've spent $420 just for myself.

Can you ask you friend how I can upgrade my 5 day tickets to a 6 day? I am seeing that the worlds package would be considered a convention ticket and can't be upgraded. I have not been able to find that information anywhere. Thank you.

i'm assuming by your numbers, you booked your trip already with an at large bid? say you do get a paid bid.. how does that work? will you get refunded for the allstar package? just curious - after i read your post i realized i never really thought about what happens in those situations.

Awe... That's so nice... We have 5 teams going on paid bids.... We are very excited... With 5 paid bids we have different ep's that do different stuff..

MyDaughterCheers my friend said you can upgrade on property. I'm not really sure what that means but I'm sure if you ask whoever you're booking through they'll know.

Plane Ticket - $175 (roundtrip)
Hotel - $305 (total of 5 days)
Athletes Entry Fee - $265
Parents Park Hopper Passes - $135 (discounted Military rates)

We decided to book our own hotel because we wanted to have more time to come up with the money
