How many other people have picked up the Sephora birthday gift for this year? I'm LIVING for the satin lip pencil. The shade is perfect. Wondering if there's any dupes for it? Specifically MAC bc I have a bunch of empties to bring back there

I just started Beauty Insider so I only got the Nars two lip sticks/liners whatever they're supposed to be. Wasn't quite impressed with them

I got those for my birthday. I like the satin one too. I might buy a red lip liner so it's easier to put on red matte one. But so far I really enjoying them.

I just bought one of the Urban Decay Matte Revolution Lipsticks and it is GORG. I got it in Blackmail- the really dark purple. I have a lot of matte lipsticks and they usually make my lips look dry and feel gross but this one is so creamy and pretty and pigmented. I'm obsessed!!!! I had enough points to get the mini Kat Von D Tattoo Liner and I'm really impressed by that as well.

I'm OBSESSED with them. I usually shy away from matte lipsticks because my lips get chapped very easily but these are so nice. I don't know how they managed to make a matte lipstick that felt so comfortable but I'm glad they did! My favorite is 1993, such a vampy nude(also it's my birth year so I felt obligated to like it[emoji6] ).

Has anyone ever tried Becca foundation?

In the past 2 months I've acquired oily skin, literally by the the time I get to work my make up his melting away. This is something I've never experienced before

Anyway I went to Sephora and the saleswoman recommended $45 Becca foundation. She said it was matte and good for oily skin. So I redeemed my shop kick points for a Sephora gift card and bought it.

Now a week later I feel like I need something to supplement it. Like I feel ashy when I wear it.....like I look "casket sharp"

I don't want to waste $45 (even if it really wasn't my own money ) and not wear it and buy something else. Does anyone know of something I can supplement it with? To make it less Matte?

You could mix a drop of a liquid illuminator into it as your putting it on and it will give you more of a glow and less of a flat look. Funny enough my favorite one is opal from Becca but loreal just came out with nice ones too! That should help take the edge off the matteness of it. Also a pinky blush will give a nice flush to your cheeks. Honestly my favorite is the hot pink one from ELF(in the black packaging) but use a very light hand because it's super pigmented!
