Thank you.

So, your uniform was $289. $180 for 6 pieces is $30 a piece. If I used your prices for what they got in their package $289 X 2 uniforms = $578 3 practice pieces at $30 a piece is $90. Total $668.

Their package was 2 uniforms and practice outfits for $400. Maybe I'm not proficient at math, but their's seem's like a better deal.
No, that makes sense. I didn't consider practice wear. But isn't your practice wear part of the uniform?

It's the price for the group. You said you thought it was high and included what you pay..........I was just using your numbers to figure out how much what they got for $400 would cost at your program.

That is a great deal! We payed way too much for CP's stuff [emoji30] $375 for uniform and $215 for practice wear (2 tops, 1 bottom, 3 bows)

HOW!?

Our program uniforms are $210, worlds teams, the girls are $300, guys are $220 (I think), but they have a TON more bling.
Practice wear is included in their monthly fees, but each girl is getting shorts, sports bra, tank top and a baseball T. Guys get shorts, Tshirt, tank and baseball T. I purchased a bra and shorts for I think $65?

I don't understand how some uniforms are SO expensive. I think ours are pretty nice and a reasonable cost? Once we have them I'll post pics.

I think we aren't getting ripped off for practice wear for cp! [emoji30] The more comments I see about how much everyone pays for their practice wear the angrier I get! I have a feeling gym might be making a profit over practice wear, is this norm for gyms to make profits over unis and practice wear?

I guess I should add that these costs are in Canadian dollars. So...$210 uniform is $160 USD. The $300 uniforms are $229 USD.

We had to stay with Canadian companies. We would've been so broke going to a US based one. Our dollar is only worth about 76 cents right now

I feel like gyms make profit over any "required" expense... lol

Our uniforms are $350, with thread less sequins rather than crystals. We are a small program though so I think we are taking a hit for custom setup fees. Practice wear is a sublimated tank and shorts, plus 2 tees. It is $100.

$260 uniform here with free practice wear (sublimated shorts and sportsbra). I would hate to pay as much as some of you!
  :(

Our uniform was $390 and OMG, I don't even know how much our practice wear was...we are new at this gym and CP just grabbed all of the pieces (THREE whole sets, 2 totally blinged out, 1 reversible for a total of FOUR outfits) at the gym. I took one look at all the stones, closed my eyes and handed my credit card over. Seriously, I have no idea how much it cost, and pretty sure I don't want to know. Definitely over $200, I feel very certain. No one seems to bat an eye, and I have to admit it is beautiful practice wear and they do wear it every practice but still, OMG! My eyes are certainly batting!

$215 dollars for 2 tops, 1 bottom and 3 bows???? Excuse my language but WTF is that nonsense. That's so much money for nothing. 1.5 outfits should not cost $200+. I wonder what the breakdown is for each piece.

I am outraged for you. $215 is 2-3 months worth of groceries for me.

Never mind. Misread the original post.

**Tell me another fairy tale Mommy, I like it when strangers tell you how awesome I am**

If you are a smaller gym I know for a fact you get charged a ton for custom uniform setup fees. That's why a lot of gyms use catalog uniforms, which to be honest can still be up to 300+ dollars.

I always research and find my best options. My kids uniforms this season were 140$ (last year was 95$) for a full custom sublimated uni. The reason why it's 140$ this season is because I wanted a popular neckline and high quality pellosa rhinestones. This year it's still sublimated but I am OBSESSED with how it looks. Will be posting it in December.

But options are out there. I just really would like gym owners to push and look for the best deals. If anyone has any questions let me know :)

The gym I coach at got new uniforms last year that I posted (and they're gorgeous) and they cost $360. Our practice wear isn't mandatory, but most everyone buys it. There's a $30 sports bra/tank top option with threadless sequins and a $40-45 sublimated sports bra/tank top. Any brand of black spandex shorts is fine and most of our athletes wear varsity spandex shorts or Nike pros. The only thing the athletes are required to wear is black on black, or a practice top with black shorts.

The pricing of some of these things being posted just shock me.
