I can get behind the 1st only because of lack of participation, but I dislike that each team doesn't have a chance to own their win.

Believe me, we waited long enough to hear/see winners. I would've gone ape if I had to sit through every. single. division. The "No Re-entry" guy and I had an understanding...
I worried about the safety factor a couple of times, for a couple of reasons too. Thankfully it worked out but it could've gone very wrong, very fast.

I wonder if the girl who fell on Orange would count as an AF because it seemed like she landed her pass and only fell to the ground in reaction to pain in her leg.

Should have been. Bewildered since score sheet states that hands, knees down, etc is a .25 deduction

I haven't seen a video of the first performance, but I was under the impression that it was only a deduction if she didn't land the tumbling... from the recaps I've read it sounds as if the athlete landed her skill and then collapsed in pain. That's no different than an athlete tripping on their way to their spot during a transition and wouldn't be a fall deduction.

It's always possible I'm not interpreting it correctly.

Agreed. It happened right where I was sitting and from what I saw she fell. There was also a very underrotated double that AR saved from busting. Both looked like deductions to me but regardless of what deductions were taken or not though I hope the girl who was hurt is ok!

Someone posted a picture of her smiling in a wheelchair afterwards. So hopefully it was a minor injury.

I could be wrong but I don't think underrated doubles are deductions at this comp. And from what I remember from the video I could have seen the fall go either way.

ETA: Just saw the video of Orange again and unless I'm looking at the wrong thing, the girl AR kinda catches definitely wasn't an underrotated double anyway.

I've had an athlete trip and fall and it was a deduction. I've also been the athlete that tripped and fell and caused a deduction [emoji854]
