Woo! Cuse men advance helping break the conference record for the ACC and Cuse women advance as well for their first Sweet 16 appearance ever! What a sweet day to bleed orange :)

If you had to look way down to see her than it was her! Are you at the game?

Yep. Lol I moved away. I hate being taller than other people.

And yes I was (am) at the game. I saw her at the send off at the Marriott though.

Watching my Musketeers and having heart palpitations. It's what I love/hate about the tournaments. You never know what's going to happen.

Well atleast Cuse will feel right at home[emoji14]I'm excited for this game!

"Oh, and also its confidence, which was underlined when Bria Day, who came off the bench this afternoon to grab 10 rebounds and block two shots while spelling her foul-prone twin sister, Briana, in the middle, was asked about South Carolina. "They are pretty good," she said of the Gamecocks, who will be next foes up, on Friday, at 33-1. "But I don't think there's much of a challenge."

You can't fix stupid, but you can normally fix arrogant. I'm looking forward to Friday.

and if you read the next part that @cheerKT left off:

"That amounted to either bold or foolish talk, but it did speak volumes about the state of the collective Syracuse mind.

Remember, Hillsman's bunch shot just 37 percent from the field during those conquests of Army and Albany, and its grad-student sniper, Butler, had missed 20 of her 24 shots from the field. But it nevertheless led the Black Knights by 30 in the first half on Friday and had outscored the Great Danes 53-31 during one 23-minute stretch this afternoon.

So, sure. The relentless Orange is feeling good about itself as it looks to South Dakota."

They know they aren't the best but all teams in this tournament have an invicible mindset. It's been an "us against the world" tournament for both teams. I wouldn't call her response arrogant or stupid.

I'm looking forward to Friday as well. If they win, great. If they get beat, they still made SU history. They win no matter the outcome!

Say what you want though. All that negativity you SC fans were throwing at us was great mojo for our men. So please, keep going, I'm not going to stop you ;)

In all fairness, I threw shade at all the bubble teams equally. Nothing against Syracuse. Vandy and Tulsa angered me much more since the men actually beat them both, Vandy twice. My other bracket is literally titled "Tulsa, though?" lol

A 24 win season capped off with an NIT bid will do that to anyone.

And I'm sure she didn't mean that how it sounded, but it's still making a few in Columbia do a double take. There's nothing wrong with confidence. But in the NCAA tournament, every game in a challenge, no matter who you are.

Except maybe UConn in their first game. Yikes.
